MS Project Skills for Project Management Professionals :

A two day workshop.

Participants at the end of this course should be able to plan, resource, cost and track a single project.

Participants will receive, as part of this course, a reference manual/roadmap covering project functionality and the workflow for the construction and maintenance of a project schedule.

Participants will also receive a number of Quick Start Project Schedule Templates used as guidelines for the scheduling of design, procurement and basic building construction. These guidelines include filters to facilitate trade selection, schedule audits with repect to logic constraints and data integrity. Participants will also receive one time limited licensed copy of EVE Earned Value Engine, a Microsoft Project companion product, used to enhance project performance reporting and trending

Project Cost Estimating and Tracking using Microsoft Project

A one day workshop covering:
The use of Microsoft Project as a cost estimating and tracking tool. Includes one time limited licensed copy of EVE Earned Value Engine, a Microsoft Project companion product, used to enhance project performance reporting and trending. This workshop is conducted for the exclusive patronage of a single company.

Management of Multiple Projects using Microsoft Project Standard

A one day workshop covering:
The use of Microsoft Project to manage costs, resources and to report across multiple projects. Also covers using Project to establish a multi-project reporting framework, incorporating links to other Microsoft Office products. This seminar/workshop can be tailored for an individual company with a predefined reporting structure already in place.

Hardware, software setup and specification, tailored to projected usage and load estimates. Also covers major project server features, including timesheeting, delegation, reporting. Primavera-SureTrak Version 3.0 for Project Management Professionals

Earned Value Methodology Performance Reporting System Implementation

The seminar covers the principles and practice of Earned Value Methodology used in Commercial and the Defence Force reporting best practices. The seminar uses case studies and Supertech’s EVE Earned Value Engine software to demonstrate how the methodology can be applied to contract management, cost, resource and material performance reporting and financial analysis. Included in the seminar price is a time limited single copy of the EVE software. Participants’ have the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the EVE software during the seminar
