Supertech is able to provide you with experienced personnel to fill a range of project management roles and provide services as described below:

  • Project Coaching and Support
    Advice and support to your staff on the planning and management of new or existing projects. This role can be used to supplement and expand on existing in-house project management and reporting skills or where required help to introduce and implement new project management processes. Coaching is provided in plan/schedule construction, plan maintenance, resource and cost management and EVM – Earned Value Methodology performance reporting. Assistance can be provided in establishing and promoting a PMO - Project Management Office framework and culture.

  • Project Planning Assistance During Tender and Implementation Phases
    Planning assistance for the development of projects including resource and cost estimating, scheduling and advice on contracting methods. Provide Supertech with a set of documents (Print Copy or pdf files) and we will build your project plan to a level of activity detail sufficient to give visibility and control to key project development phases including: design, statutory approvals, procurement, subcontract letting, mobilization, implementation, roll-out/commissioning and handover at trade/team activity level. U sing industry plant and labour constants, we can estimate the time phased labour requirements (Histograms) then use this data to estimate supporting service requirements and verify labour commitments as work packages are let. Provide us with bi-weekly progress data with accompanying digital images of work in progress and we can remotely update the project plan and forward the EVM based progress report to you in pdf file or xml format.

  • Project Audits
    Undertake technical, plan/schedule/program and financial audits of projects and independently report on their status with respect to the project timeline and budget. Our staff visit the project office and site and undertake a detailed audit and review of the project controls system and status the project with respect to schedule, resource usage and cost. Using EVM - Earned Value Methodology, the captured data, is processed and resulting calculated performance indices, together with the work to completion, used to establish the project’s estimated time and cost to completion. Using this information, recommendations can be made on improving project performance.
  • Advice on Contractual Claims
    Assist or undertake the preparation or evaluation of business disruption, extension of time and cost variation claims. Using planning software such as Microsoft Project together with Supertech’s propriety EVE - Earned Value Engine software, the impact of external and internal project changed conditions can be modeled and the impact on the contract baseline assessed and claims prepared and substantiated.

  • Risk Analysis
    Carry out risk analysis using proprietary software such as At-risk to assess project risk areas and recommend action to minimise adverse outcomes. Provide us with your project plan and we shall undertake a risk analysis based on units of time, cost and work.

  • Financial Modelling
    Using a combination of the project plan and Supertech’s EVE software, financial models for investment analysis of capital intensive projects including operating costs and revenue can be developed. We can investigate alternative implementation scenarios and rank these in accordance to the best return on investment.

  • Project Approvals
    Managing the project "approvals process" including all statutory needs such as environmental and planning approvals.

  • Owner's Representative
    Undertake the role of Owner's Representative in supervising projects including all technical and commercial aspects of the project. Utilizing planning software and Supertech’s EVE- Earned Value Engine, project performance can be tracked and evaluated against the contract baseline, contractor claims verified and payments for work completed certified.

  • Project Management
    Undertake direct management of the project on behalf of the owner to achieve the project aims. Supertech’s experienced contract staff can undertake temporary or permanent assignments for the duration of a project. Contract staff include technical specialists in selected disciplines, project managers, procurement specialists, planners and cost engineers.

  • Project Controls
    Assist you in establishing a project office, provide software, training and coaching to a point where sufficient expertise exists in-house for our staff to disengage. Provide on going coaching/mentoring and support to ensure project controls skills and reporting are maintained.
